Agloco Viewbar Released and Reviewed!

After months and months of waiting, Agloco has finally released their Viewbar today! Apparently they have not managed to implement all their ad-networks but due to the huge amount of customer complaints, they have released a version of the Viewbar with a workaround.
What does this mean to the user? It means… well nothing. I guess you won’t have a wide variety of ads to see but let’s be honest, who’s installing the Viewbar to see ads? It’s to make money!
You can login and go get it but the Agloco site is very very slow right now, I suspect it is being hammered by the millions of users rushing to download it.

Viewbar Options
It appears that the Viewbar does not have multi-monitor support; this means you can have it running on one monitor while you use the other to do your work without distraction! It also comes in 4 colors to match your windows skin: blue, green, purple and red. If you wish, you can have it dock to the top of your screen instead of to the bottom.
Other Features
Other features include setting your default search engine (Google, Yahoo, Windows Live, eBay, Wikipedia, Amazon, Rediff, Dictionary, and China’s popular Baidu). It also contains shortcuts to all your Firefox and IE bookmarks, Windows Calculator and Windows Calendar (the date & time setting screen).
As of the time of this post, there aren’t any ads up yet but so far the toolbar doesn’t seem to be too distracting and may actually be quite useful once you get used to using it for your searches/accessing your bookmarks!
