Any news that gets reported on April Fools is automatically under scrutiny, regardless of whether the news is legitimate or not. People have been fooled in the past. This afternoon, I open up Google Reader (from Gmail of course) and I see these ridiculous headlines:

Well the only thing is… these headlines aren’t April fools jokes! They just happen to be on my RSS feeds on April 1st. At a glance, they certainly do have the potential to be an April Fools jokes but upon reading the article, you would quickly realize they are not.

So here’s a hint to all you bloggers out there, don’t post anything important on April Fools Day if you want to be taken seriously. Otherwise it’ll just get lost amongst the countless other April Fools jokes that pop up on the Internet every year. :)
