Thank you very much for your list of TD! I played TD a couple of times and just fell in love with it. But to tell the truth I did not expect that there are so many kinds of TD. It is a great surprise for me. I will use your list with great pleasure and advise it to all my friends, fans of TD.

Anti-TD is an interesting concept of TD, its opposite to normal Tower Defense games, we are the monster now, the game is realy fun. but i haven’t finished yet.

I’ve played so many of these, but the one I have found to be the best so far is GemCraft (http://armorgames.com/play/1716/gemcraft). Instead of just placing towers, you place gems of different hues with different capabilities, and these gems can be combined for different effects. It’s very addictive and has some great RPG elements that have brought me back again and again.

There is also a sequel now out called GemCraft chapter 0. The sequel I am finding much more difficult to advanced, but so many new elements were added that I keep playing just to try and get to the next level.

Bloons Tower Defense 3 is out (http://www.ninjakiwi.com/Games/Tower-Defense/Bloons-Tower-Defense-3.html) and its even better then the #2. I love it. I just thought you would like to know.

Tower Defense games rose up very quickly, and although I don’t know of their origin, I have seen Tower Defense type maps in Starcraft that have the elements of these ones and more.

Thanks a lot for the tower-defense article. I can only recommend you guys to try out DBZ-TD if you are playing Warcraft 3. I love it.
