Infinite Firefox Loading Prank

Simply tell your friends about the fastest and most accurate internet speed test out there: EZ Speed Test (http://www.ezspeedtest.com)
They’ll go there and wait … and wait… and wait for the page to load until they realize that the page has already loaded and they’ve been (mildly) punk’d.
Note: this only works with Mozilla Firefox for two reasons:
- Internet Explorer does not currently support animated favicons.
- I was too lazy to create the loading favicon for other less commonly used browsers.
If you visit the page with a browser other than Firefox, you’ll see that I did some (very basic) browser detection. I wish I had more time to make it more convincing but in all honesty, I purchased the domain yesterday and set up the page in 5 minutes — making the favicon took a bit longer though.

I bought the domain for a year so I’ll keep it up. Who knows, maybe I’ll turn it into a real speedtest site! For now, I’ve changed the hidden message
I did submit it to digg but I think it was so convincing that most people thought the site wouldn’t load!

In school we thought all of April was for fooling people, not just 1 April. So there is no reason i cannot play this prank on people in the middle of April
