Migrating from (gs) to (dv) Dedicated Server

I have outgrown my shared grid-server hosting with mediatemple. Over the next few days, I will be migrating over to a dedicated virtual (dv) base server with the follow specs:
- 256 MB Dedicated RAM
- 20 GB Disk Storage
- 1 TB Network Transfer
- Plesk 8.2 Control Panel ($30/month value)
The cost is $50 a month but with the mediatemple referral program, I am only paying $20 a month for a dedicated virtual server! Although downtime should be nonexistent, you may be reaching the site on the old server. Please be patient while DNS propagates across the Internet!
I’m looking forward to using the Plesk 8.2 control panel which is probably the most powerful control panel for hosting — that is, managing your own web hosting business. Keep an eye out for a full review of the (dv) server as well as Plesk.
